Police trying to arrest the Anander Bazar CEO
A case has been filed against Ahmadul Haque Khandaker, managing director and CEO of e-commerce company Anander Bazar, for embezzling money. A customer named Sujan filed the case with the Gulshan police station alleging fraud.
Gulshan Police Station OC Abul Hasan confirmed the matter. He said efforts were being made to arrest the CEO after the case.
Meanwhile, after the case, Ahmadul Haque came on Facebook Live and made various negative comments about the police, journalists and customers. He accused the police of taking bribes. He said, 'My police brothers came that day, I paid Tk 12 lakh in cash. But no one spoke for me. '
The head of Anander Bazaar also commented the customers as greedy. He said, “Why do you buy the products at a discounted price? Why do you buy the motorcycles, refrigerators at discounted price? Why do you not buy goods without discounts? Customers are greedy too. This situation today is because of them.”
It is learned that a customer named Sujan has filed a case against Anander Bazar MD and CEO Ahmadul Haque Khandaker on October 5 alleging fraud. Hundreds of crores of Taka have been defrauded in the case.
